One of the questions I get asked most often as a family photographer is, “What should we wear?” While there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer, this recent late-fall session at Holiday Park in Indianapolis is the perfect blueprint for getting it right.
This sweet family of three mastered the balance of being cohesive without feeling “matchy-matchy.” By choosing a palette that mirrored the natural environment of the park, they remained the focal point of every image while feeling perfectly at home among the autumn leaves and the iconic Ruins.
Why This Palette Worked:
Holiday Park remains one of my favorite locations for lifestyle family photography in Indy. Whether we are exploring the wooded trails or using the architectural elements of the Ruins, the light during a “golden hour” fall session is unmatched.
